The neighbourhood profiles are 22 data profiles that, collectively, cover the whole borough of Camden. The profiles contain comprehensive, verifiable and up-to-date statistics from a variety of sources about the community characteristics, assets and strengths, challenges and needs in each neighbourhood. They are designed to help the Council, other statutory partners and the VCS understand what is being delivered in small areas and the resources that already exist in each area, and identify any gaps.
The neighbourhoods are composites of lower super output areas (LSOAs), which are smaller than wards. The neighbourhoods do not conform to administrative boundaries or electoral wards. Their borders are instead based on the actual way that residents identify with particular areas and how they really move about within certain localities.

This set of updated profiles incorporate the most recent ward data available from population forecasts, from surveys and from administrative data to give the best current view of the local population. They include current population and forecast changes; household income levels and deprivation; local workplace employment levels; levels of welfare claimants and unemployment benefit recipients; life expectancy and crime.

This database includes total energy consumption (i.e. gas, electricity, heat) in kWh and total carbon footprint in kgCO2e (calculated using DEFRA’s 2014 carbon emission factors) for each site that is in the scope of the Council’s annual Greenhouse Gas report. Display Energy Certificate (DEC) score and rating, and total useful floor area has been included where the data is available (this will be updated). Most of the data is actual, however, some is based on estimated billing. Please note that the amount of energy consumed per site depends on various factors, e.g. size of the building, type and age of the building, use/services based in the building, occupancy patterns/changes, occupants behaviour, weather conditions, etc.

These profiles help paint a general picture of an area by presenting a range of headline indicator data in both spreadsheet and map form to help show statistics covering demographic, economic, social and environmental datasets for each borough, alongside relevant comparator areas.
The full datasets and more information for each of the indicators are usually available on the London Datastore. A link to each of the datasets is contained in the spreadsheet and map.

This dataset contains the National Statistics Postcode Lookup (NSPL) for the United Kingdom. The NSPL relates current postcodes to a range of current statutory administrative, electoral, health and other statistical geographies via ‘best-fit’ allocation from the 2011 Census output areas. It supports the production of area based statistics from postcoded data. The NSPL is produced by ONS Geography, which provides geographic support to the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and geographic services used by other organisations.

This dataset contains a list of Camden's housing stock; attributes include the property type, number of bedrooms and approximate location. Location is based on the centre point of the housing estate the property resides in; estates which contain less than twenty properties do not have a location to provide anonymity to the tenant.
