The Council's annual analysis of pay by gender, ethnic origin and disability. Following the introduction of legislation requiring organisations to report gender pay information from April 2017, this report is the second to use the government's prescribed methodology.

The Camden Annual Employment Profile provides an analysis of the size and makeup of the workforce and other aspects of recruitment and employment in relation to age, disability, ethnic origin and gender, as well as religion or belief and sexual orientation, where the data is available. The profile contributes to ensuring that Camden fulfils its obligations under equality legislation, specifically the public sector equality duty under the 2010 Equality Act.

This report outlines the Council’s approach to the use of settlement agreements and the number and value of settlement agreements entered into by the Council for 2016-17

Unequal impact of COVID-19: BAME disproportionality
The shielded population are those that have been defined by Government on medical grounds as medically vulnerable due to a clinical condition that puts them at High risk of developing complications from COVID-19 infection.

Those recommended to shield include:
• Organ transplant recipients
• Pregnant women with congenital heart conditions
• Those with rare diseases such as homozygous sickle cell, SCID and others
• Those on immunosuppression therapies
• People with specific cancers or those with cancer undergoing chemo/radiotherapy.

Camden has so far received the contact details of almost 8,000 residents identified by central Government, with more records likely in future.

The details received do not contain the personal characteristics of those on the list, although we have received an overview from North Central London NHS.

The Trade Union (Facility Time Publication Requirements) Regulations 2017 requires the London Borough of Camden to publish information on trade union facility time annually. Please note that due to amendments made to the data after the 2018 Trade Union Facility Time Survey portal had closed, the data published on the London Borough of Camden’s website differs to that published as part of the Cabinet Office’s Public-sector trade union facility time data.
