This health and wellbeing profile gives an overview of the burden of ill health in Holborn and Covent Garden, one of Camden's 18 electoral wards, focusing on areas where Councillors can take action to improve outcomes for residents.

This needs assessment provides an analysis of needs relating to the provision of sport and physical activity for young people aged 0-18 (0-25 disabled) in Camden and Islington, with a view to increasing their participation in it. The research focussed on the following areas and recommendations are made for how the offer could be improved.
- Strategic context - local and national policies which relate to physical activity for young people.
- Participation - the extent to which young people in Camden and Islington participate in physical activity.
- Motivations and barriers - the factors which provide barriers and motivations to young people when taking part in sport and physical activity.
- Supply and demand - the supply and demand of sport and physical activity opportunities for young people.

The Local Democracy, Economic Development & Construction Act 2009 required local authorities to prepare a local economic assessment (LEA). The LEAs purpose is to provide local partners with a clear picture of the economic conditions in an area
and how they affect the wellbeing of residents and businesses. It should identify economic linkages between the area and the wider economy, comparative strengths and weaknesses and the resulting challenges and opportunities; and constraints to growth and employment. The Camden LEA was published in May 2011.

This health and wellbeing profile gives an overview of the burden of ill health in Gospel Oak, one of Camden's 18 electoral wards, focusing on areas where Councillors can take action to improve outcomes for residents.

This public health intelligence profile describes the patterns in demographics, risk factors and burden of ill health due to long term conditions for people registered with a GP in the North locality. GP localities are clusters of practices working together to share experiences and knowledge, as well as local monitoring of service provision. This profile, and the profile for the South and West localities, have been produced to support this work by identifying needs, patterns, and inequalities at a more local level.

Unequal impact of COVID-19: BAME disproportionality
This presentation includes some national data on health experiences of the BAME population, 2011 Census data on the ethnic make-up of Camden residents and ONS data on mortality rate by ethnicity as a result of Covid-19.
It then deep dives into what our VCS organisations have heard first hand from our Black, Asian and other non-white ethnicity communities.

This helps us to understand how the government measures have exacerbated the effects of COVID-19, and how they will continue to disproportionately affect people. (Data collated through conversations with our VCS partners).

This report has been produced by public health as part of the St Pancras and Somers Town Partnership, and describes a series of insights from local residents and wider stakeholders around what makes it easy or hard to eat well and be physically active in the St Pancras and Somers Town ward.

This updated profile incorporate the most recent ward data available from population forecasts, from surveys and from administrative data to give the best current view of the local population. They include current population and forecast changes; household income levels and deprivation; local workplace employment levels; levels of welfare claimants and unemployment benefit recipients; life expectancy and crime.
