The Local Democracy, Economic Development & Construction Act 2009 required local authorities to prepare a local economic assessment (LEA). The LEAs purpose is to provide local partners with a clear picture of the economic conditions in an area
and how they affect the wellbeing of residents and businesses. It should identify economic linkages between the area and the wider economy, comparative strengths and weaknesses and the resulting challenges and opportunities; and constraints to growth and employment. The Camden LEA was published in May 2011.

This public health intelligence profile describes the patterns in demographics, risk factors and burden of ill health due to long term conditions for people registered with a GP in the North locality. GP localities are clusters of practices working together to share experiences and knowledge, as well as local monitoring of service provision. This profile, and the profile for the South and West localities, have been produced to support this work by identifying needs, patterns, and inequalities at a more local level.

Unequal impact of COVID-19: BAME disproportionality
This presentation includes some national data on health experiences of the BAME population, 2011 Census data on the ethnic make-up of Camden residents and ONS data on mortality rate by ethnicity as a result of Covid-19.
It then deep dives into what our VCS organisations have heard first hand from our Black, Asian and other non-white ethnicity communities.

This helps us to understand how the government measures have exacerbated the effects of COVID-19, and how they will continue to disproportionately affect people. (Data collated through conversations with our VCS partners).

This dataset contains the National Statistics Postcode Lookup (NSPL) for the United Kingdom. The NSPL relates current postcodes to a range of current statutory administrative, electoral, health and other statistical geographies via ‘best-fit’ allocation from the 2011 Census output areas. It supports the production of area based statistics from postcoded data. The NSPL is produced by ONS Geography, which provides geographic support to the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and geographic services used by other organisations.
